Wine and Dine with Grand River Chorus
Welcome to a CELEBRATION of all things wonderful- food, wine, music, and great company. This year Grand River Chorus is singing the praises of 25 years of “Music in Our Hearts” and is hosting a special editions of its Fête du Vin fundraiser to support the choir’s continued development.
Grand River Chorus’ 22nd annual Fête du Vin
It’s an evening of fine food, guided wine tastings from Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery, live entertainment, live and silent auctions, raffles, and much more. Sprucewood Shores Estate will be bringing a selection of red and white wines from the shores of Lake Erie.
“This is a can’t miss event,” says Pat Eyzenga, GRC’s Goodwill Ambassador. “It’s the perfect combination of great food, great wine, and great entertainment. We always have a wonderful and fun-filled evening, and hope some new faces will join us to celebrate during our milestone anniversary.”
Fête du Vin is the GRC’s main fundraiser
As a registered charity, the GRC relies on sponsorship, donations, and fundraisers to continue bringing choral music to the community. The event’s ticket sales and auctions funds help the choir to support the local arts community by hiring soloists and musicians for their concerts and by supporting the development of young choral singers.
“We would love to make our 25th year one to remember by surpassing our fundraising goal of $16,000,” says Susan Howe, Committee Chair.
Fête du Vin takes place February 24, 2024. Tickets can be purchased by emailing fundraising@grandriverchorus.com or directly from a member of the choir.
